Printing with collage

Here I have created a series of prints by collaging different materials together onto a cardboard block and using black ink. I varied how much ink I used and how much I wet the paper, to create different looks. I really enjoyed this session and the prints that I created.

Lino printing

Using patterns and motifs studied from a trip to Newstead Abbey, I carved my design into a block of linoleum, before using red printing ink to create this series of designs.

Monoprinting

I really liked the monoprinting sessions. They were a fun change from the usual way of creating images. It was cool to see how each print turned out differently, and I enjoyed trying out new techniques and materials
